THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, first issue, one pound, here (Auckland) or Wellington (written in), 1st June 1874, No.A10323, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, (L.401, P.S111b, Clifford B120). Light folds and corner crease, otherwise nearly very fine and excessively rare, the earliest known issued note from this bank and the only one known of this type.
