INDIA, Mogul, Muhammad Akbar (A.H.963-1014, A.D.1556-1605) round silver rupees, probably Lahore mint (mint off flan), almost all with distinctive symbol inverted heart, obverse with Kalina Shahada within ornamental octofoil, reverse similar within ornamental octofoil various dates between AH 970 - 978, (KM.80.12, one 972 illustrated). Very fine - nearly extremely fine, all short on flan. (17)
