Bid at live.noble.com.au
SOLD $220
WORLD WAR I, Voluntary Ballot A.I.F. badge, by Angus & Coote Ld, Sydney, in bronze (29x33.5mm), with B in black enamel in shield, an unfinished example without silver plating and blue enamel in B. Some oxidation toning, otherwise very fine and rare.
It is possible that this was a sample in bright bronze with black enamel but after submission for approval it was decided that the finished item should have a silvered finish with blue enamel.
Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
