SCOTLAND, bicorn with flat top in dark green fur with black plume from front to back and at one side on a green velvet rosette is a badge of a rampant lion left holding a shield and a bow, mark on the underside for maker, 'John Kirsop, Late, Nixon & Kirsop, 98, Argyle Street, Glasgow', together with a lidded and fitted steel case. The tin with much oxidation, the hat with a loose button above the rosette, otherwise very fine.
