ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, Second Punic War (c.205-203 B.C.), billon tetradrachm or two shekels, (11.03 g), obv. wreathed head of Tanit to left, wearing earring and necklace, rev. horse standing to right, palm tree with fruit behind, dotted border, (cf.S.6496, MAA 79, SNG Cop 351). Even grey-brown patina very fine and rare.
