HALF HUNTER POCKET WATCH, 1800s, key wind, appears to be silver, lift-up glass cover with a pierced hole in centre at the mid-point and above the centre of the dial hands, this cover is over a white dial with vintage period dressed lady in a balcony setting with bushes at left and seated looking over her left shoulder, small 12-hour time dial in centre with key wind hole at top right edge, the whole dial lifts up on a hinge to reveal the works and these marked, 'Romilly a Paris' and the number 14663, inside the back cover is the letter a inside a triangle and another indistinguishable mark, together with key size 5 with 6-petal flower on one side. In working order, small crack where dial meets hinge and small chip where key winder fits, letters on watch dial faded, bright square mark on back where a ticket has been removed (will fade and disappear over time), otherwise very fine.
