EGYPT, Late Middle Kingdom, (c2040-1782BC), marl clay, round topped stela of Heriheb with a winged uraeus, sixteen columns of hieroglyphs above a register of figures (including Heriheb and six deities) and eleven columns of hieroglyphs below. Slightly damaged on the lower right edge.

With certificate of authenticity from Cairo Antiquities Gallery (CAG).

Ex Hewitt Collection 1966, acquired by CAG via an auction in Lancashire, 1989.
