SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS, National Emergency Service badge, c1940, in gilt and enamel (25x28mm), by Amor, Sydney, button lug back, reverse numbered S9, at base of badge, 'A.U.C (Australasian Union Conference)/S.D.A (Seventh-Day Adventists)/First Aid'. Some oxidation spots, otherwise good very fine and scarce.

Established, with training provided, to help the unfortunate and needy but also to assist the government National Emergency Service if needed.
