AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL ANTARCTIC RESEARCH EXPEDITIONS, Mawson, Davis, Casey, winterer's medal in bronze (54mm), by Royal Australian Mint for Department Of Science, edge inscribed, 'F.Reid Casey 1974'. Oxidation on obverse and edge, otherwise very fine/nearly extremely fine.
Frank Reid served as a cook at the old Casey Station in 1974. A new station was opened at Casey in 1989.
