AUSTRALIAN - AMERICAN ASSOCIATION, enamelled tin badge (56mm), named on front to, 'Frances/Conrow'. Some toning marks, otherwise very fine and scarce.

Mrs Frances Conrow's husband was the permanent representative in Australia of Armco International Corporation, Ohio, USA, arriving in Australia in November 1929. In 1935 Mrs Conrow was assisting to transport bedridden patients through the American Women's Auxiliary of the Children's Hospital. Around February 1941 the Australian-American Association was founded. Mrs Conrow was also involved with other charitable assistance groups in Australia. She died on 15 September 1959 at her home in Wahroonga, Sydney, NSW.
