THRACE, Byzantium, (c.357-340 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (1.85 g), obv. forepart of advancing cow left, on [dolphin], **PU* above, traces of A monogram below, rev. ornamental trident head, (S.1583, BMC 24 [p.23], cf.SNG Cop. 485, Schonert-Geiss Group XI [p.123). Toned, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
