THRACE, Skythia, Olbia, (c.330-320 B.C.), AE 25, (10.08 g), obv. bearded head of river god Borysthenes to left, rev. **OLBIO* upwards to right of an axe-sceptre and bow in gorytos **D* to left, (S.1685, BMC Black Sea 457-459, SNG Stancomb -, HGC 3, 1887). Dark brown patination, very fine/nearly extremely fine, rare.

Ex William B. Porter Collection (with his descriptive ticket) from CNG Triton VII, January 13-14, 2004 (lot 1327 part).
