MACEDON, kings of Macedon, attributed to Philip V - Perseus, (187-168 B.C.), silver tetrobol, (1.94 g), Amphipolis mint, obv. head of nymph or mainad wreathed with grapes, rev. stern of galley to left, above, MAKE/**[DON]WN*, (S.1384, cf.SNG Saroglos 971-2, cf.SNG Ash. 3286, HGC 3, 326). Extremely fine, weakness on ethnic, variety legend above galley, unusual and very rare.
