MACEDON, Kingdom of Philip V, (220-179 B.C.), AE 23, (9.57 g), obv. bearded head of Herakles in lion skin to right, rev. harpa above **BASILEWS*, below **FILIPPOU*, monogram above **DI*, all within oak wreath, (S.-, SNG Alpha Bank 1116-9, SNG Cop. 1296 var., HGC 3, 1072[S]). Dark patination, nearly extremely fine, very scarce.
