THESSALY, Larissa (under Macedonian domination), (365-356 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.92 g), obv. facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to right, hair in ampyx, rev. horse grazing to right, above **LARI*, (S.2123, Lorber, Hoard, Phase K-M, cf.BCD Thessaly II 248, HGC 4, 430). Off centred on obverse, very fine from a rare set of dies.

Ex BCD Collection who bought it from Sotheby's New York Auction, December 9, 1993 (lot 119 part), and previously from the Athena Fund.
