ATTICA, Athens, (c.449-413 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.05 g), obv. head of Athena to right, wearing crested helmet, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, olive twig behind, **AQE* before, all within incuse square, (S.2527, BMC 74, Kroll 10; HGC 4, 1631). Toned, fine and scarce.

Ex Wayne Woolmer Collection 21 February 2004, previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 68 (lot 1861 part).
