CORINTHIA, Corinth, (400-375 B.C.), silver stater, (8.50 g), obv. Pegasos flying to left, Q below, rev. head of Athena to right, wearing plain Corinthian helmet, forepart of horse left, (cf.S.2626, Calciati (Pegasi) 143/1, BCD Corinth 55, SNG Cop. 35, HGC 4, 1833). Lightly toned, a very sharp and attractive reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and a rare symbol.
