Pegasos grazing left, monograms in exergue, (S.2639, HGC 9, 239 [S], illustrated); others earlier issues (111-105 or 95-90 B.C., obv. helmeted head of Ares (?), rev. sword in sheath star in crescent, (S.3643, HGC 9, 241) (5, one illustrated); others c.!00-85 B.C., obv. laurate head of Zeus to right, rev. eagle standing left on thunderbolt (S.3644, cf.HGC 9, 237) (4, one illustrated); others c.Mithradates VI (c.90-85 B.C.), obv. aegis, rev.
