CARIA, Carian dynasts, Attigulevo, (c.475 B.C.), silver stater (11.52 g), obv. winged naked male figure walking to right, rev. bull standing right, within dotted border in incuse square, traces of letters above, (S.-, see Robinson Num. Chron. XVI (1936), BM aquisitions for 1933-1934, No.4 this with a reverse inscription and detailed discussion, Brindley Collection No.51 [Oct.13, 2003, Baldwins Auction, This Coin]). Lightly toned, very fine or better and extremely rare.
