CARIAN ISLANDS, Rhodes, (275-250 B.C.), silver drachm, Erasikles magistrate, (3.25 g), obv. head of Helios three-quarter face to right with hair loose, rev. rose, with bud on right, to left and right P O, helmet to left, above **[E]RASIKLHS*, (S.5037, BMC 59 [p.236], SNG Finland 506 [similar dies], Ashton "The Coinage of Rhodes 408-190 BC" 194). Slightly porous surface, otherwise good very fine, scarce.
