LYCIA, Dynastic coinage, Vekhssere I, ruler (c.450-430 B.C.), silver stater, Xanthos mint (as Arnna mint), (8.38 g), obv. Helmeted head of Athena to right, rev. laureate head of Apollo to right, diskelis before all within an incuse square, (S.-, Traite II/2, 244, Vismara I Vekhssere No.49-51, 54; Museler V, 7-8). Obverse off centre otherwise very fine and very rare.
