SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrius I Soter, (162-150 B.C.), silver drachm, 15.5mm, (4.16 g), Antioch on the Orontes mint, dated SE 162 (151-150 B.C.), obv. diademed head to right, rev. cornucopia, below, two monograms above date B**X*P **[B]ASILEWS, DHMTRIOU SWTHRO[S]*, right and left, (S.7019, SC 1642.4c, HGC 9, 806, DCA 111). Attractive extremely fine.
