PALESTINE - JUDAEA, Gaza, imitation of Athens silver obol, (4th century B.C.), (0.77 g), obv. helmeted head of Athena to right, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, to left olive spraty and crescent, **[AQE]* all in incuse square, (cf.S.2541, SNG ANS [Palestine] 15, Hendin 1015, HGC 10, 554 [R2]). Toned with hoard patination, about very fine and very rare.
