BAKTRIA, Kingdom of, Apollodotos I, (c.160-150 B.C.), square silver drachm, uncertain mint in Papopamisadai or Gandhara, (1.89 g), obv. elephant to left, around **BASILEWS APOLLODOTOU SWTHROS*, KP monogram below, rev. humped bull standing right, Karoshthi legend around, w below, (S.7591, Bop. Series 4E, M.207c, HGC 12, 119). Attractive grey tone, nearly very fine.
