BAKTRIA, Kingdom of, Hermaios, (c.105-90 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (9.52 g), uncertain mint in Paropamisadai, obv. Hermaeus diademed bust to right, around **BASILEWS SOTHROS ERMAIOU*, rev. Zeus Mithra seated to left holding sceptre, making a benediction gesture with his right hand, monogram in left field, (S.7736, Bop. Group III Series 14I, M.418d, M.2034, HGC 12, 290 [R]). Attractive dark patination, good very fine, scarce.
