TIBERIUS II CONSTANTINE, (A.D. 578-582), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, (1.48 g), obv. Tiberius II Constantine bust to right, with pearl-diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN COSTAN TINVS PP AC, rev. cross potent, around VICTOR TIBERIAS AUS (sic), in exergue CONOB, (S.425, DOC 7, cf.R.923-4, MIBE 9b, BMC 14ff). A superb strong strike, nearly uncirculated and rare in this condition.

Slabbed by NGC as a strike 5/5 and surface 3/5.
