NERO, (A.D. 41-54), AE dupondius, issued A.D.66, Lugdunum mint, (11.58 g), obv. laureate head of Nero to left, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P, rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTI, S C across in field, Victory walking to left, holding wreath and palm, (S.1970, RIC 523, BMC 356). Orichalcum metal with earthen patina, good very fine and rare in this condition.
