GALBA, (July 68 - January 69 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, obv. laureate head of Galba to right around IMP GALBA, rev. around [HIS]PA NIA, Hispania standing left, holding poppy between grain ears in right hand, shield and two spears in left hand, (cf.S.2103, cf.RIC 144 [different obverse legend], RSC -). Toned, good fine and extremely rare, apparently an unrecorded variety.
