DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE dupondius, uncertain mint in Thrace, issued A.D. 82, (12.87 g), obv. radiate head of Domitian to right, around IMP D CAES DIVI VESP F AVG P M TR P P P COS VIII, rev. around ROMA, Roma helmeted and wearing robes, seated left on cuirass, holding wreath in right hand and resting left on parazonium, behind shields, S C in exergue, (S.2788, RIC 839, RPC 532, BMC 518). Good very fine, very rare.
