HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE as, Rome mint, (13.04 g), issued 130-133, "Travel Series" issue, ("Provinces cycle) - the province alone, obv. laureate and draped bust of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP, rev. S C in exergue, around AFRICA, Africa wearing elephant trunk on head, reclining left, holding scorpion and leaning on rock, (S.3673, RIC 1615, C.143). Brown patination, nearly very fine/very fine and rare.
