MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 161-180), AE As, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 144, (12.74 g), obv. bare headed draped bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS, rev. around IVVENT TAS, S C across the field, emperor? standing to left holding branch. to right a trophy with a shield at base, (S.4832, RIC 1239, C.395). Even brown toning, very fine and scarce.
