PERTINAX, (1 January - 28 March 193 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.50 g), obv. laureate head of bearded Pertinax to right, around IMP CAES P HELV PERTIN AVG, rev. around AEQVIT AVG TR P COS II, Aequitas standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, (S.6038, RIC 1a, RSC 2). Toned, very fine - good very fine with a clear portrait, very rare.

Ex Heritage Auctions 271726, lot 38137. In a slab by NGC, graded Ch VF. Strike 4/5 - Surface 4/5.
