CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), AE sestertius, issued 211, Rome Mint, (20.04 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around M AVREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Securitas seated right on throne, cornucopia below, holding palm branch, resting head on right hand, around PM TR P XIIII COS III P P, S C in exergue, (S.6924, RIC 480a, C.193). Even brown toning, old cut in reverse field, nearly very fine and a scarce type.
