MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (19.20 g), issued 236-238, obv. MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. SALVS AVGVSTI, Salus seated to left feeding snake rising from altar, S C in exergue, (S.8338, RIC 85, C.92). Extremely fine with with attractive dark green patina, very scarce.
