PUPIENUS, (238 A.D.), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, (20.56 g), obv. around IMP CAES M CLOD PVPIENVS AVG, laureate bust of Pupienus to right, draped and cuirased, rev. around CONCORDIA AVGG, Concordia seated left with patera and double cornucopiae, S C below, (S.8530, RIC 20, C.7, BMC 43); another Volusian, (251-253 A.D.), Ae sestertius, Rome mint, (15.78 g), obv. around IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIAN[O AVG], laureat bust to right, rev. around P M TR P IIII COS II P P, emperor standing to left, holding branch and short sceptre, (S.9792, RIC 244, C.97) (illustrated); Philip I, Moesia Superior, (244-249 A.D.), AE 28 (14.28 g), year 6 = 245 A.D., obv. Philip bust right, IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Moesia standing to left, between bull and lion, PMS COL VIM around, AN VI in exergue, (cf.S.3874, Varbanov 135, Pick AMNG 102).
