ANNONA AVGG, Annona standing left before modius, holding corn ears and cornucopiae, (S.8922, RIC 28c, RSC 2532); Gordian III, (A.D.238-244) similar (4.15 g), rev. VIRTVS AVG, Virtus standing left, holding branch and spear, (S.8669, RIC 71, RSC 388) (illustrated). With old patination, mostly extremely fine. (3)
