PHILIP II, (247-249 A.D.), silver antoninianus, issued 248 A.D., Rome Mint, (3.95 g), obv. radiate head right, around IMP PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. LIBERALITAS AVGG III around, Philips I & II seated left on curule chairs distributing cash, (S.9265, RIC 230, C.17). Attractive tone, with original mint bloom, extremely fine and scarce.
