FAMILY GROUP: WWI. Trio: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 3821 Pte. C.Frost. 5/Bn A.I.F. All medals impressed.; WWII. Single: Australia Service Medal 1939-45. P.M.5534. T.J.Frost. Impressed. One group and a single, the group toned good very fine, the single medal with contact marks, otherwise extremely fine.

Together with return fob in gold (15ct; 6.01g; 29x35mm), pin-back, also with pierced hole at top for suspension, reverse inscribed, 'Presented by/residents of Jeparit/To/Pte. C.Frost/5th Batt./to mark his return/from Great war/17/12/18'; enamelled 5Bn unit colour patch; version of Rising Sun badge in the form of a nacre brooch (kangaroo section broken off but with lot); dog tag for 3821 C.Frost together with piece of leather cord (presumably for wearing); piece of gold necklace (probably 9ct; 2.80g; 23.5cm); Coronation medalet 1953 presented by Parramatta City Council; large tag for No.1 Australian Hospital Ship "Karoola" with completed details for 3821 C.Frost, diagnosed with Acute Nephritis; another small tag 'Cot Case', with details for No 1 Aux Hospital and 3821 C.Frost with recommendation 'Ch. Aust'; T.S.S. Karoola, No 1 Australian Hospital Ship, Souvenir of Returning Wounded & Convalescent's July & August 1917, in the form of a card with inserted pages listing crew and passengers and with photos of the ship, printed on board the ship.

Single: Thomas Joseph Frost, born 19Dec1920 at North Carlton, Vic; Enl.20Jan1943, home port - Port Melbourne, Vic; Disch.10May1946 as AB (CO) ex HMAS Lonsdale.
