TRIO: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 1595 Pte N.Nichols. 17/Bn. A.I.F. All medals impressed. First ribbon damaged, other ribbons marked, medals toned very fine - extremely fine.

Together with Princess Mary Christmas 1914 gilt gift tin; RSL two figure type large badge (KC), reverse number 64002; The Australian Legion of Ex-Service Clubs badges (KC), 2 large (one damaged) and one small; The Frank Whiddon Masonic Homes Life Member medal, reverse number 1274; Caringbah RSL Club badge 1987, reverse number 187; pin-back gilt crown with ribbon backing; NSW Railway Ambulance Corps, Efficiency Medal in silver reverse inscribed 'N.I.Nichols/Efficient/1929', and with extra bars for Efficient 1930 named 'M. (sic) I.Nichols', Efficient 1931 named 'N.Nichols'; another but in gold (9ct; tot wt 12.75g), reverse inscribed , 'N.Nichols/Efficient/1932', and with bar inscribed, 'N.I.Nichols/Efficient 1935'; another being a Life Member medal, 1938, inscribed, 'N.I.Nichols'; The Eveleigh Railway Returned Sailors & Soldiers Club Life Member badge (KC), reverse inscribed, 'N.Nichols./1952-53.'; Australasian Society of Engineers badge in gold (9ct; 10.23g), unnamed; family prize medals include Cleveland St School, in voided silver and gold, obverse inscribed, 'HN', reverse inscribed, 'Clev. St. S. Swim.Carn./14.3.11/H.Nicholls/1st Teams'; N.S.W.R.T.A.C. (NSW Railways Teams Annual Competition), medal in gold and enamel (9ct; 6.20g), reverse inscribed, 'Scoular Shield/Competition/Won by/N.I.Nichols/1932.'; swimming prize medal in gold (9ct; 3.81g), reverse inscribed, 'St G.D.S.C/50 Yds Hdcp/won by/F.H.Nichols'; also a stick pin-backed silver bar with ribbon but missing medal.
