PAIR: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. A.E.Robinson. Both medals impressed with small letters. No ribbons, first medal dark toned, otherwise very fine - good very fine.

Possibly British Merchant Navy - Albert Edward Robinson, born 1888, was later killed in WWII when he was serving as Chief Officer on merchant ship, Empire Bosun, when it was torpedoed by submarine U-124 on 01Nov1940.
