TOWERS PASTORAL AGRICULTURAL & MINING ASSOCIATION, 1885, in silver (48mm), reverse inscribed, 'C.J.Lamonds (should be 's, see note below)/"Dominican"/1st Prize/Blood Stallion/4 Years & over/1885'. Hairlines on obverse, otherwise extremely fine.

The fifth annual exhibition of the above association was held in the School of Arts, Charters Towers on Wednesday 3 June 1885 and was continued the next day at the association's showground. The reported winner of Section VI - Blood Stock - best stallion 4 years or over was awarded to Dominican, owned by C.J.Lamond.
