AUST. Commonwealth Opening of the First Federal Parliament, 1901, in silver (29x35mm) (C.1901/2), by Stokes & Sons, ring top suspension with ribbon and silver and enamel ribbon brooch bar 'Australia' with Australian coat-of-arms in centre. Toned uncirculated and rare with brooch bar.

Probably a medal as issued to official function attendees or to government officials.
