CAPT. James Cook R.N., Aust. Bi-Centennary, 1970, solid steel cylinder being the die for the reverse legend of this medal (58x47mm; 0.865kg) (C.1970/24), around the top edge of the die has been removed so only the bottom two-thirds of legend is remaining. Good very fine.

This medal was designed by G.H.Bevan and W.J.D.Mira.
