ARTHUR PHILLIP ESQ, The First Fleet, 1788, solid steel tiered cylinder being the die for the reverse of the medal but with variation to legend, 'Anchored' instead of 'Arrived' (approx 104x67.5mm; 3.84kg) (cf C./Bicent.1), on the side of the lower half of the die is impressed, 'EZH' and in white paint, 'F'. Uncirculated and rare.

It is believed that only 4 medals were struck using this die.
