A.I.F. on second medal, 1689 Pte. J.L.L. Vafiopulous. 4 L.H.R. A.I.F. on last medal. All medals impressed. Swing mounted with original ribbons, contact marks, otherwise good fine.
Together with pin-back mother of pearl leaf brooch with Mother across it in brass wire lettering; small strip of timber with the name, 'J.L.L Vafiopulous' inscribed thereon.

John L.L.Vafiopulous' son, John Leslie Victor Vafiopulous, a commercial traveller, was killed in a road accident on the Geelong-Melbourne Road on 3 October 1947. His wife Annie Elizabeth Nancy Vafiopulous died at Bendigo on 3 January 1969 and he died on 16 November 1975 and was buried at Bendigo, Victoria.
