Geoffrey Martin Scott, station hand, age 19, born at Taroom, Qld; Enl.19Jul1916 at Roma, Qld; Emb.27Oct1916; TOS 52Bn 12Apr1917 in France and became part of 13Bde positioned at Messines Ridge; WIA 09Jun1917 GSW right knee, in France during a unit advance and taken to Northampton War Hospital in England; rejoined unit in France 03Dec1917; Trf to 49Bn 16May1918 in the field, France and re-allotted Regt No.2976A; to 1st General Hospital 13Nov1918 with severe Broncho Pneumonia; RTA 24Jan1919; Disch.01May1919 and started farming on the Darling Downs in Qld; Died 14Jun1987 at Roma, Qld.
