AUSTRALIA, WWI War Service badge (type 2, c1918), in voided silver and enamel (44x26mm), hallmarked for Birmingham 1917 by maker W.J.D (W.J.Davis), pin-back. Good very fine and scarce.

Worn by civilian workers, mostly female, employed on duties for Australia. It was worn by civilian members of the staff at AIF Headquarters at Horseferry Road, London.
