BRITISH V-FORCE COMMANDO SPECIAL FORCES BADGE, in brass with lug back. Very fine and rare.

Ex Barry McGown Scott Collection and previously from Colonial Auctions 26/2/05 (lot 679).

V-Force was a guerrilla force of British and Indian soldiers set up in 1942 to combat the likely invasion of India by the Japanese (see Kipling & King Vol II, p2072).
