AUSTRALIA, WWII, military whistle in darkened brass, on one side is impressed '1944/[broad arrow mark]', at the top front is impressed, 'Premier/Wire/Works/Melbourne/Australia', with loop suspension at end and this attached to a short leather strap for fitting onto a uniform button. Very fine.
