AFRICA, Western Sudan, Manding, late 19th century, curved steel sword, brass pommel, elaborately shaped and decorated leather scabbard, (740mm long); Manding, late 19th century, large powder flask, of impressive size, the leather body decorated with elaborate scrollwork, woven tassle strap, (350mm long). Very fine and unusual. (2)
